Count sheep. Breathe. Sleep.

Schlafschaf is the old trick, done properly. A sheep crosses the fence in one slow breath: in as it approaches, hold at the top, out as it lands. You follow. That is the whole app.

What's inside

  • The scene is built for the dark: warm moonlight, soft fog, a few fireflies, no bright white anywhere. Swipe down to dim it further, or switch to night red. A gentle pulse in your hand keeps the rhythm, so you can close your eyes and let the phone rest on your chest.
  • Set a timer. Sound, light and motion fade out on their own. The sound and the quiet count keep going after the screen locks. No scores, no streaks, no notifications, no account. Nothing leaves your phone.
  • Free, for good: the 4-7-8 breath, the plain sheep walk, the timer, the dimmer, voice or soft tick, rain or silence.
  • Schlafschaf Full, one purchase: the Steady and Box breathing patterns, shuffle words, and the wind, stream, pink noise and cricket sounds. No subscription.

Slow breathing, monotony and dim warm light are simple, well-known ways to settle before sleep. Schlafschaf is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat anything. If sleep stays hard, please talk to a doctor.
